We booked this thinking the ride would be around the lake/forest areas at low/flattish off road level. instead this was a constant uphill trek. the day was 33+ degrees heat and the horses were struggling shortly after starting the uphill climb. Within 20 minutes of coming off the roads and hitting the trail, the horses were really struggling with the hill, the heat and riders - we took the decision to walk the horses the rest of the way rather than ride them, taking lots of…”
